Destination Sweetheart was a temporary exhibition from The Red Star Line Museum curated by Lien Vloeberghs. The exhibition brings together stories from people who emigrated for love, displayed along with the objects that were important for their narrative.

 

The love story of Laura and her husband, Stef, was selected to be displayed in glass vitrine, along with the drawings, photographs and letters.

 

The artist was asked to give art workshops to children and adults around the theme of love migration. Laura was also commissioned to design the cover of their magazine: The Passenger.
